For over 25 years I have taught vocal music 20 years of children's musical PK-8 grades. I customarily Integrated music to many academic subjects: languages, French, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Language Arts, Math, Science. For the past 5 years I have actively integrated computational thinking components and Educational Platform [Scratch, Micro:bit, Earsketch, code.org, coderz] to music contents. I have been a presenter at Common Ground Maryland, MCCE, AERA. CGMD2022 - A presenter at Common Ground Maryland CGMD2024 - A presenter at Common Ground Maryland CGMD2025 - A presenter at Common Ground Maryland 2023-24 - Participated in UMGC research study: Accessible Computational Thinking (ACT) in Middle School Science Classes and Music - 2025 - I attended the AERA Annual Conference in Denver Colorado joining a University of Maryland research team as a presenter.
